Creating a Portrait to Treasure for a Lifetime
Every Legacy Portrait begins with a photograph and a story worth preserving. We’ll work with you to select the perfect photograph of your loved one, whether it’s a cherished family snapshot, a professional portrait, or a photo captured during a personal photo session with us.
Once your photograph is selected, we carefully prepare the image and transfer it onto canvas for your review and approval. We want you to feel confident in the image before the painting process begins. After you approve the photograph, your portrait is hand-painted with light oils, adding artistic depth, texture, and the beautiful character of a traditional painted masterpiece. Each brushstroke is applied with care to preserve your loved one’s unique features and likeness.
Your finished portrait becomes a beautiful, hand-painted work of art created to celebrate the people who matter most. You may also choose to include a video session and a QR-code plaque alongside your portrait, allowing you to scan the code and watch your loved one whenever you wish to revisit those special memories.
Before We Begin
To help us create your ideal portrait, please consider the following:
-
Your photograph: Provide one or more high-quality photographs and let us know which is your favorite. Clear images help us capture the details that make your loved one recognizable.
-
Your preferences: Share any special requests or details you would like us to consider.
-
Canvas size and finish: Choose the size that best suits your space and decide whether you prefer a traditional frame or a gallery wrap.
-
Optional video and QR-code plaque: If you would like to incorporate a video of your loved one, we can discuss the available options during your consultation.
How Long Does It Take?
Once your photograph has been selected and approved for transfer to canvas, the process typically takes 4–6 weeks, including painting and drying time. If your portrait is intended as a gift for a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or another special occasion, please let us know as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your desired date. The timeline may vary depending on the number of requested changes before final approval.
